MADE IN THE UK.

What size do I need?

First of all, take a look at the picture below. These are the four different pin sizes we do. The 120 pin is the standard size of pin used in the UK, the other three are thinner if the standard size is too wide. If in doubt, try the 120pin first as this is the most common pin size used.

To work out what size tip you need, measure the straight side of the D-shaped tip, not the curved side. Measuring across the middle or any other way will not give you the correct size. To measure round tips, please measure across the middle.

To work out what size pin you need, measure the width of your old tips across the bottom of the shaft
where it is splined or ribbed
(the end of the pin that goes into the plastic).

120pin will measure 3.1mm (0.120")

115pin will measure 2.95mm (0.115")

101pin will measure 2.55mm (0.101")

095pin will measure 2.45mm (0.095")

All pins are between 12mm and 14mm in height. Some sizes have a blunt end and some are pointed. This is just the way the manufacturer makes them and does not have a bearing on the pin size. If you need to know the exact height or whether your choice is pointed or blunt at the end, please message us.

We would advise you to get them put on by a professional cobbler but it you feel capable you can do it yourself with pliers and a hammer.
