layer with built-in speakers. The case is in very good condition, unfortunately I tried to test it with the only 8 track tape I own and it does not seem to work. The channel changer seems to work.(The light changes 1-4) When I plug it in I hear a low noise emitted from the speakers. But no audible music comes out. It may just need a good cleaning or possibly a belt???? I have no idea and I am not an expert in vintage audio equipment.It measures approximately 11.5"L × 9"H × 6"W. There is one small chip on the back side edge and one small "melt" spot on the inside. Again it is a unique piece of audio gear that does not work but the exterior is in very good condition.It is being sold as is, with no guarantees. THANKS
