This cam was designed to add power to your vehicle while maintaining the use of factory valve springs and pushrods. This cam was designed for ease of tuning and drivability, along with a mild, but noticeable idle. As with all BTR offerings, you can be sure you're getting the utmost reliability as a result of thorough testing on our in house engine dyno and Spintron.

This camshaft is exactly what the budget conscious truck owner is looking for! Independent engine dyno testing showed 66hp INCREASE over the factory camshaft. These are incredible numbers for a camshaft that can operate with (otherwise) stock valvetrain! While this camshaft was designed to work with the 5.3, it also pairs well with the 4.8L, 5.7L and 6.0L crowd. Works with your stock valve springs, Lifters and pushrods, No other hardware changes are necessary. Slide this Camshaft in and unlock the horsepower. Limited labor with maximum results.
