These washers are stamped from high quality Nitrile Rubber sheet (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Rubber - NBR).

This is good quality material and should not be confused with some Economy or Low Quality Commercial grades; it contains between 20 and 30% Active Polymer and is ideal for a wide range of sealing, gasket or craft solutions where general resistance to oils is required.

This material has good mechanical properties; relatively high tensile strength, flexure, compression set and impermeability to gases.

It has moderate ageing properties and has good adhesion to metals.
