Handsome pair of wrought iron and rattan mid-century modern side tables in the style of Calif-Asia. They are in wonderful original vintage condition and patina with all rattan in place that we can tell. Circa 1950s-1960s.

It’s pretty amazing that something so simple, simplicity of line and simplicity of materials, can be so beautiful! This incredible pair of side tables is comprised of only two materials: half inch diameter steel rod, that is bent into a u-shape with a cross rod at the floor to hold the two u’s together and then painted black, and tightly woven rattan wicker for the top. They are light and airy and portable and do all of that with great style and presence. Circa 1950s-1960s and in the style of the interesting iron and rattan furnishings by Calif-Asia. And possibly Carl Aubock, unfortunately, this pair are not marked. These tables are in excellent condition with their original patina and will look fabulous with a design aesthetic from mid-century modern to industrial and modern country. You know you love these. You must make them yours.
