Nikon AF-S VR-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 lens

I have decided it is time to downsize from my Nikon DSLR kit to a set-up based on Fujifilm mirrorless CSC equipment. As a result, all my Nikon gear will be up for auction over the next few weeks. I'm starting with my absolute favourite lens, the  wonderful 70-200mm f/2.8 with vibration reduction.

I acquired this lens about ten years ago, second-hand, and it has behaved flawlessly over thousands of shots. That f/2.8 aperture makes it ideal for sports and wildlife photography, as well as being good for portrait shots using natural light. I have included a couple of shots at the end of this description, taken today - one at 70 mm, the other at 200 mm. The photos are completely unretouched - all I've done is resize them, and if you click on each  photo, you can view the full-size image.

It's picked up one or two minor dings along the way, all cosmetic; I've included a close-up of a scratch towards the rear of the camera. Both front and rear elements are completely unblemished. The tripod mount ring rotates freely, and the tripod foot can quickly be removed if desired.

Note that what you see is what you get; the lens comes with genuine Nikon lens cap (LC-77),  LF-1 rear cap and HB-29 lens hood. It will be sent fully insured, next-day delivery.
