This is a 3 Cam mount lens, which fully works on all Leicaflex cameras, R3 to R7 and R8/R9 without Automatic Exposure Control.

This lens will work with all Leica M Range  cameras, film or digital like M10/M240,  most DSLRs cameras as well as mirrorless,  such as Canon EOS, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic 4/3 and Micro 4/3 system, Sony, Pentax, etc., ,  and  cinema/motion camera systems with a proper adapter. (i.e. Sony, Fuji, Canon, Nikon, Alexa, BMD, Red etc.)

But,we make no guarantees about usability of this lens on any system other than Leica R Series Cameras. Please do your own research if you plan to use this lens on non-Leica system.  An improper or cheap adapter may cause extensive damage to the lens. A return is not accepted if you find the lens does not work or is damaged because of improper or cheap adapter you apply

Please DO NOT use a flashlight to exam/inspect optic conditions because scratches/marks on the flashlight glass reflect through the lens elements, resulting in inaccurate inspection.

  Difference between Scratch and Cleaning Marks on Glasses

*Scratch on the Glass of a lens: You can feel when you gently run a fingernail across it. A scratch mark if it is deep enough may affect image quality.

*Hairline/cleaning marks on the Glass of a lens: It is only on the coating and cannot be felt. They will not refract light and won’t affect any image quality.

RETURN POLICY

 The return policy set forth by eBay in 2018 states that certain product categories have unique retail standards and that sellers will be able to offer variations on the new return policy options. Our products are in the category of CAMERAS & PHOTO, and they are included in unique retail standards. Since an item is previously used and sold as is, there may be minor discrepancies or oversight in description.

We offer 30 days and Free Return.

Our Return Policy excludes the followings:

1.         A Buyer falsely claims an item was not as described or changes his/her mind.

Based on frequent claims for focusing ring damage which might have been caused when a buyer has held the focusing ring to attach an adapter to his/her digital camera, we are no longer able to offer a return. It costs us $300.00 to have the focusing ring to be repaired. There is no other reason why a focusing ring is not working other than the mishandling as stated in the beginning of the statement described above.

WARNING:  If you plan to use this lens on your DSLR camera, your extra caution is required.  Hold the lens barrel, not FOCUSING RING while you try to attach it to an adapter or to your camera mount, otherwise, the FOCUSING RING might be snapped off or disengaged from the focusing system, resulting in damage. The repair cost for this damage may cost you about $300.00.  Please note that the buyer is responsible for the damage repair if this happens.

The condition of the focusing ring you have purchased is clearly described as being in working condition when the lens is listed. Then, again we will make a final inspection when we are ready to pack the lens. I, the owner of this store, will personally certify that the focus ring is in working condition in a purchase order which will be included in the package. Therefore, we will not accept a return of the lens due to the damage caused by careless handling even though you may claim you have not held the focus ring when attaching the lens to your camera or to an adapter.

2.       An item is returned after it was used or damaged by the buyer. We keep all records for the item you purchase in file for future reference.

3.       A buyer demanded something not offered in the original listing.

 If a buyer claims a full refund with any of these exclusions, a seller is entitled to send you a partial refund depends on the level of damages/abuses.
