Rare pair of vintage AUDIX 35102 mic preamps and EQs in a professional rack with proper Sowter transformers inside. They sound and perform alike and can be used nicely together for stereo recording techniques or as drum overheads. These are among the very best transistor designs from the BBC era of large consoles. There is a lot of information online for your to read up on. The bottom line - they sound very close to Neve 1081/84 mic pre/EQ units, albeit at 5x lesser price. We actually sold our 1081s in the past (for some $13k) and kept these instead.
You are bidding on the bottom unit pictured with two brown-faced Audix units in a 2U rack (120V US standard).
They are excellent match to our pair of Neumann KM83s sold in another listing, in case you wondered...
Given the age of these units (from early 1970s), buyer has 14 days to fully review them after which point we no longer accept any returns. If they are returned in the condition as originally described with no fault on sellers end, we charge 10% restocking fee.
