Fabulous mid-century modern round upholstered corner lounge
chair in royal blue fuzzy original upholstery with a bolster back on
cylindrical wood legs with casters. This chair is in wonderful vintage
condition apart from a cigarette burn on the seat under the left arm and a
minor repair on one leg. We have shampooed the original upholstery. Circa
1950s-1970s.
This is the most wonderful unmarked and unattributed chair
I’ve seen in a long time! Kind of a cross between Nanna Ditzel’s Ring Chair and
Adrian Pearsall’s Round Swivel Lounge Chair. It sports a round bolster back and
round seat which is mounted on a wood base with cylindrical legs which are in a
diamond shape with one leg in front, one in back, and one on each side and is
on casters. The original fuzzy royal blue fabric is fabulous but does have one
small, what looks like a cigarette burn, on the seat. The fuzzy-ness of the
fabric disguises the burn to the point that I would be able to use the original
fabric because it is so awesome. This incredible chair should be yours!
