Up for auction is a 1950 CLUE The Great Detective Game Small Box (No Board). The 2-piece box is 10 1/8" wide by 9 1/8" tall by 1" thick and weighs .65 lb. It was copyrighted in 1950. I don't know if this is an original Clue die. Instead of a one dot, there is a worn image that I can't make out. There are 6 unused double sided score pages with a bunch of used pages. There is a folded page of Rules for playing Clue. There is the black paper Clue Cards envelope. There are four pot metal weapon game markers: the revolver, pipe wrench, knife and candlestick. Clue cards included: Lead pipe, candle stick, rope, wrench, knife and revolver; Billiard room, library, lounge, hall, dining room, conservatory, study and kitchen; Mrs. White, Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum and Mr. Green. There is also a Clue card advertising other games that Parker Brothers make: Monopoly, Rich Uncle, Pegity and Pit.
Lid of box shows a ton of handling over the years with worn and tattered edges and corners and some staining. There is no longer a game board with this game set. At least some of the game markers as well as some of the Clue cards are missing. Look at the photos carefully.
