Offering a more cost-effective and flexible alternative than silencers, Acoustic Ducting is used to reduce the noise made by ventilation fans in growrooms and industrial areas.
It's made from a perforated inner core that's identical to our Standard Ducting but with lots of small holes punched in it - this is then wrapped in a layer of glass-fibre and sealed by another layer of aluminium foil. As the air travels down the inner core the sound is let out through the holes into the glass-fibre, which deadens the sound.
In practice it reduces the noise of a fan by around 60%-80%, and is almost always used with fans of 150mm and above although all sizes of fans benefit from it's use.

Express Delivery

We use UKMail for express delivery options ( Highlands and Islands can be a two day service ). If ordered before midday on 95% of occasions you will receive your item the following working day, but please allow for up to 2- 3 working days for delivery. If your order is time sensitive please contact us to confirm that your order is fulfillable in the timeframe you require.

There are no orders sent out or delivered on weekends and Bank Holidays so Friday dispatches will usually arrive with the customer on Monday, or Tuesday if a Bank Holiday weekend, and Saturday/Sunday purchases will usually be dispatched on Monday, or Tuesday if a Bank Holiday weekend.

Saturday delivery is arrangeable for £12, except in Non-Mainland Islands where this service is not available.

Standard Delivery Details

These items are sent by Royal Mail Second Class post which usually take 2 working days, but can often be next working day, On rare occasions Second Class can take between 5-7 working days. All items require a signature at the given delivery address.

PLEASE do not open a case if your item is delayed as this affects our Ebay seller rating and we will do everything possible to find out where your parcel is and get this sorted ASAP!

Not Being In For Your Delivery

If a delivery is attempted but unable to drop off because there is nobody in then UKMail or Royal Mail will leave a card with instructions for getting your parcel. On occasion, but not always the case a re-attempt could be made by the UKMail service.

With Royal Mail, packages will remain at their depot until picked up. PLEASE LEAVE A MOBILE NUMBER FOR A NOTIFICATION FROM UKMail WHEN YOUR DELIVERY IS DUE. With UKMail the package will remain at the depot for a few days but if the customer has still not contacted them the item will be sent back to us. We are happy to send the parcel out again, but, because of charges levvied to us by UKMail for returning non-delivered parcels and re-delivery costs, any redelivery of an order will incur a fee of £6 per parcel and £12 per consignment to cover these costs. If you decide you no longer require the order the original postage ( £6 per parcel ) and return costs ( £12 ) will be taken off the refund total.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with any item you have bought from us, return it to us unused and in the original packaging and condition in which you received it with the receipt within 30 days of purchase and we will give a no quibble full refund for the goods returned.

Cancellations

We are happy to cancel any order that has not been dispatched if directed by the customer making the order.

Shortages and Wrong Items

Any shortages or wrong items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. No reports of shortages or wrong items claims after this timeframe will be accepted.
