contemporary mottled calf with the arms of Napoleon Bonaparte in gilt on
front and back boards, gilt decorated spine with title labels of green and
red morocco inlaid, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Stamps on title
page of Cabinet des M. l'Empereur et Roi, Bibliotheque du Roi, Compiegne and
Depot de l'Etat, Compiegne. Joints splitting, wear to head and foot of
spine, and a little damage to the spine - which according to a note on the
fly-leaf was caused by a shell splinter in 1914. Internally clean and
bright, a volume in sound condition Size: 5 x 8
