Up for bidding is this Vintage Late 1920's, Solid Wood, French Provincial, Ladies Dressing Table with Original Woven Cane Matching Chair and Full Length 3 Way Adjustable Mirror. I purchased this lovely piece some 20 years ago, straight out of a Mansion over on Salisbury Street here in Worcester, Ma. It is solid and other than the missing the former100 pound lead center mirror, it is all original, and it has no other structural damage. I think, I hated the weight of the mirror so much, and the wood back holding it up was shredding from the weight, I threw it away, when I moved it to a different room, about 10 years ago. The mirror is an easy fix with your local glass/mirror guy, a new lightweight clear mirror, cut to fit, should run between $30 to $50 at most. The seat is also strong and useable, no breakage to any of the original wicker. The set does have wear to the paint and finish. Nothing extreme or unusual for the age. I love this item, I just don't have room for it. This is not a 1950's reproduction, this is a better crafted set from the late 1920's. There are five drawers the center being the largest. The desk measures 30" tall by 45" long, by 21" wide. The chair is 37" tall. The mirror easily inserts in the peg holes, and runs the entire lentgh of the back edge, 45" long, by 31" tall.
