Here's a unique and truly exceptional occasion to get one of the rarest and best-sounding recording consoles ever: The Sound Techniques Chelsea "The Last"console.

According to Geoff Frost from Sound Techniques, this console started being crafted in 1970-1971 and was finished in 1973-1974 as some drawings are from 1974. This is, indeed, the very last console that Sound Techniques built before the company stopped.
They've been bought since by an American company and will soon release some new desks based on the original schematics.

This desk is the real deal, 100% custom-built in Chelsea, London UK. Rupert Neve actually said that he inspired himself from the design of the Sound Techniques's preamps and EQs to create the 1073.

- 3-band EQs, patchbay, original transformers...

A total service and recapping job is included in the price for this desk to be ready-to-go when it comes to your place.

The console is Paris, FRANCE and we can send it anywhere on the globe as long as the buyer pays for transport of course.

Here's what Sound Techniques say about the Chelsea console:

The venerable Sound Techniques Chelsea was a one-off console that was custom built for Sound Techniques Studio in Chelsea, London. The Sound Techniques Studio was sold to Olympic Studio before it could be installed but the prototype module was used extensively at Sound Techniques from 1972 to 1976 at the studio for overdubs and was renowned for its sound.
