Timex Automatic Power Reserve Men's Watch

Here we have a very cool Timex men's watch that does unfortunately have some issues. This watch has a great look and an automatic power reserve movement, and also features a date indicator.

This watch is being sold as is for parts/repair/wear primarily for two reasons.

1- The power reserve indicator hand is loose in the case.

2- The watch's stem appears to be broken as shown in the photos. The watch uses a screw down crown system and when I unscrewed the crown the stem and crown came loose as shown in the photos.

The watch does wind and tick but is listed as is for parts or repairs for the above reasons. I have not monitored the accuracy of the watch as I have not been able to set the time due to the stem issue, but I would guess it would work as is it should considering this model is not a vintage one, but rather a more modern one.

This watch would make an excellent piece if it were to be repaired, but could also be worn as is. As explained above, the watch does tick, and the watch is also in very good cosmetic condition. The crystal is quite clean, as is the case. The band will, however, need replacement as it is stiff and worn and is missing loop holder/keepers. It does also have some tearing as pictured.

Working battery powered watches are guaranteed to work when they are delivered to you. After arrival, battery replacements/repairs are the buyer’s responsibility, but if your watch does not run when it is delivered or stops shortly after please let me know and I will see what I can do.

Vintage watches disclaimer:

Working vintage watches with hand wind or self wind/automatic movements are listed as is. If a watch is listed as working then it worked fine for me when I attempted to wind it and will likely work just fine for a long period of time. I just do not guarantee the running of these watches over time as these kinds of watches can become overwound or stop working suddenly due to their age.

Water resistance is not tested or guaranteed.

Condition:

Payment:
