Tyranny & Tone "Playtime is Over" 1995 Edition on CD | 16 bit 44Khz WAV Audio

Big Noise presents, Tyranny and Tone "Playtime Is Over". This 1995 hip hop single was produced by Noiseman. The project represents the first work between Tyranny, Tone and Noiseman. Operating from a Bay Area based home studio, the three got together and recorded S.T.E.P.H. over a beat Noiseman had been working on earlier that year. Short for Stephanie, the song is a lyrical nod to some day-to-day relationship situations. Playtime Is Over was later recorded in 1995 at a new studio location.

The signature sound created during these recordings, helped to shape the flavor you hear on the B Flatt "Back to Basics" album, recorded the next year in 1996. This single got picked up by Hip Hip Enterprise in March 2018. A hip hop record label out of Belgium. They will release 300 12" vinyl records in summer 2018. To coincide with the B Flatt "Back to Basics" record release, from Back 2 Da Source records, in Belgium.

Produced by Noiseman on an Akai S1100 and Ensoniq EPS-16+, sequenced using Cu-Base, then mixed on a Soundcraft 24 track Spirit mixer. Vocals were recorded on a Tascam MS-16 1" Tape Machine. The vibe and bass melody for the song S.T.E.P.H. was organically arranged using sampled tones, laid out as individual notes on the keyboard. The beat was compiled with separate drum loops for the the main rhythm, and top end.
