Plot Summary:
Season 1: Mankind has developed superpowers known as "Quirks" with 80% of the population having some kind of superpower. These new abilities see the rise of both superheroes and villains. A prestigious school known as the The Hero Academy trains superpowered hopefuls into the heroes the world needs. Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he's part the 20% without a Quirk. Unwilling to give up his dream, he plans to take the exam and be accepted into a high school for budding heroes. Through a series of serendipitous events, he catches the eye of the greatest hero, All Might, who agrees to train him.
Season 2: Taking off right after the last episode of the first season. The school is temporarily closed due to security. When U.A. restarts, it is announced that the highly anticipated School Sports Festival will soon be taking place. All classes: Hero, Support, General and Business will be participating. Tournaments all round will decide who is the top Hero in training. Wills and strengths will be tested, as weaknesses will be overcome in this new season of My Hero Academy.
Season 3: In a world where superpowers known as “Quirks” grant great power to their bearers, Midoriya has risen from being a Quirkless young boy to a resilient hero-in-training, working alongside his peers at U.A. High School in hopes of one day becoming a true superhero. Having clashed with actual villains like Shigaraki and his League of Villains, Midoriya understands the fragility of his world and the speed with which he must rise to defend it. In the wake of his recent encounter with Shigaraki, Midoriya and his fellow 1-A classmates will now be forced to undergo summer training, all to prepare them for the day when their guardians' protection isn't enough. But the League of Villains is also preparing, and the repercussions of their next strike will shake this peaceful society to its core.
Season 4: The fourth season begins by highlighting the work-study assignments of various U.A. students. The appearance of the yakuza and a mysterious girl held captive affects many members of the hero establishment. The tension eases as preparations for the U.A. school festival come together involving all members of Class A. The season ends with epic flames.
Season 5: A Academy's Class 1-A has been the focus of a substantial amount of public attention due to the multiple villain attacks they have faced over the past school year. This attention has left Class 1-A's rivals, Class 1-B, feeling quite bitter. Desiring to prove their skills, they look forward to the opportunity that has been given to them: a set of mock battles between the students of each class. The classes are split into squads of four, each of which is tasked with capturing the other group members. The winner is the group who first secures all of the opposing team. While this sounds simple, a curveball is thrown into the mix with the inclusion of General Course Student Hitoshi Shinsou, who wishes to transfer into the Hero Course. Despite using his training with Class 1-A's homeroom teacher Shouta "Eraserhead" Aizawa to prove that he's capable of being a real hero, he is still far behind the others due to his lack of experience. However, Shinsou is determined to overcome this challenge. Thus begins the fiery competition between Class 1-A and 1-B as each tries to prove that they are superior to the other.
Season 6: After Tomura Shigaraki merges the villain organizations to become the Paranormal Liberation Front where Hawks undercover within them, the U.A. students join forces with the Pro Heroes to strike and capture enemies while targeting Shigaraki who desires to steal One For All and destroy the society by inheriting his new power. The unsuspected villains must regroup and fight back, but the Heroes are determined to eradicate every last one of them. The public's trust towards the Heroes faces a significant decline during the aftermath of the war. Meanwhile, Midoriya's public revelation leads him to drop out of the school as the country's fate in his hands.
Movie (Futari No Hero): The climactic finals are over, and U.A. is getting ready for the summer training camp. Deku and All Might receive an invitation from a certain person to go overseas to a giant artificial moving city called I-Island. This island, a kind of “science Hollywood” that gathers the knowledge of scientists from around the world, is holding an exhibition called I-Expo showcasing the results of Quirk and hero item research. In the midst of all this, Deku meets a Quirkless girl named Melissa and remembers his own Quirkless past. Out of the blue, the impregnable security system the island boasts is hacked by villains, and all the people on the island are taken as hostages. Now, a plan that could shake hero society has been put into motion. The man who holds the key to it all is the number one hero and Symbol of Peace, All Might.
My Hero Academia the Movie -Heroes: Rising-: U.A. High's Class 1-A have been assigned to Nabu island to help the locals. This has been arranged to keep the students safe from villains. When 4 super-powered villains arrive on the island, Deku and his classmates have to work together like never before. It will require true heroes to save the locals and defeat Nine and his fellows.
My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission: When a cult of anti-quirk terrorists destroys a city by releasing a gas that causes people's powers to go wildly out of control, Japan's greatest heroes disperse across the globe in an attempt to find the ringleader and bring him to justice. As part of Endeavor's team, Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki travel to the European nation of Otheon. But after stopping a robbery gone wrong, Deku finds himself framed for mass murder and on the run with a two-bit criminal—with both Otheon's police force and the terrorists hot on his trail.
