Nice Emerson TV - DVD combo.   Decent overall condition, some spots of wear.   Both TV and DVD are in working order.   Ideal for a guest room, den, office, apartment, or dorm room.  Great picture, see my photos for further details.  There is a small rub mark at the right-hand edge of the screen, but it cannot be seen when a picture is displayed, and is observable only when the screen is turned off.  It is difficult to show in photographs.  Stand is included.  Remote is not included.   I may remove the stand to facilitate shipping, with the buyer reinstalling the stand with the supplied screws.    

This is an enhanced-definition television (EDTV) that features an ATSC digital tuner to receive free over-the-air digital TV broadcasts (with antenna, not included), as well as unscrambled digital cable channels.   My third and fourth photos are of a free over-the-air signal received from our local PBS affiliate using an attic-mounted antenna (not included).   

The TV is lightly used, with some light scratches and light wear.   

And when you aren't watching TV programs, you can enjoy DVDs with stereo or virtual surround sound.   My first and second photos were taken while a DVD was playing.

We use Quality Packing.   All items are wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and placed into an oversized box so that there are several inches of packing material between the item and the outside of the box.   This means that the item will not move within the box, nor will it touch the outside of the box where damage can occur.   Of course, this adds weight and dimension to the item, which will result in higher shipping costs (and more packaging TLC) than what most "Free Shipping" sellers are willing to incur.  We do not go cheap just to make a sale, and then keep our fingers crossed that the package will arrive at its destination in an undamaged condition.   Vintage electronics are often one-of-a-kind items that cannot be readily replaced if damaged in transit.

 REMEMBER: Whether the seller states "free shipping" or a flat-fee shipping amount (such as $10), the fact is that the seller will pay FedEx, UPS or USPS the exact amount it costs for a package weight/dimensions/distance, and so do you... NOTHING IS FREE!   The shipping is rolled into the asking price!   Why so cheap with free shipping?  You should be asking yourself that question!  And what about the packing?   Be sure to ask the "Free Shipping" seller WHAT SIZE BOX HE WILL USE AND WHAT PACKING MATERIALS HE WILL USE?  Bubble wrap, along with sturdy styrofoam and biodegradable foam packing filler ?? -- OR crumpled newspaper in a thin-walled carton barely big enough to accommodate your item!  It's your money! 

Important Note:  If you require specific packing procedures-- please contact us BEFORE buying so we can assess if it will change the size or weight of the package.   Once you have paid for the item, we cannot change the packaging (weight/dimensions), so please do not ask for modifications after paying.

Shipping is based on package dimensions, package weight, and distance traveled.  We enter the package information into the listing.  The eBay software inputs that information plus the buyer's zip code into the USPS and Fedex rate tables.  That's the Shipping Cost you see.  We add NO service charges.  We add NO handling fees.   We add nothing.   The number that you see for Shipping Costs is what I will be charged by the USPS or FedEx.
