his is a very nice convertible clone rt convertible - same 2 owners for last 20 years -  one small slit rip on power top (still a nice top that doesn't leak - i would not replace it as it's a great looking top). Runs very nice - it's a clone - i don't know what size the motor is - i think it is a 318 that was bored out to a 340 - it is very very powerful and sucks up a lot of gas.

i purchased the car from carrol street motors of new hampshire in july of 2011 - they had sold it to a NH resident about 11 years before that - he sold it back to them and i was 1 of 3 people who got there the first day they advertised it - yes i was the first - it has gone only 6k miles in 18 years.

i looked for a decent price one for many many years and when this poped up i shot out there and bought it. i have since bought a few cars from them.

currently one of the headers has a slight leak, last year i had a new starter put in and they told me after if i had the gasket they had to take the exhaust off to get to the starter - so that was a bummer. anyway the underneath is in nice shape - the interior is good - motor runs great - it's not a show car - but a good car that can easily be made into a show - i have done nothing but drive it and have the oil change once a year.

you can see oil on the engine - it does not leak oil. the one strange thing is there is no dip stick - i actually called the old owner which i think you can see his #on the top of the back page of the title to ask where it was. he informed me there never was one when he bought it. i went nuts looking for it. it doesn't burn or leak so there are no issues to worry about.

rhode island is a non title state so you get my actual registration and your state or country will issue you a title. you can verify this right on the state of ri dmv web site. when i sold my other cars that is exactly what happens. car can be viewed anytime - if you are out of state i have no issues with sending somebody local or bringing it somewhere local to have it checked out. any questions my # is 401-451-4551. i also have the NH title when i bought it - see pictures

this is no reserve as it just has a starting price - i hope it goes for a lot more - but if not it will sell at opening bid. also if you are out of state and having it shipped i will drive it up to 100 miles to your shipper if it saves you a lot of money.

i had 28 antiques registered and came to the realization that i need to get down to 10 - i am now at 18 and 8 more are going - i started a few years ago of reducing the collection and have been lazy - but it needs to be done.

the others i know for sure are 72 bug covertible, 63 comet convertible with 28k miles, 70 challenger convertible, 67 plymouth satelite, 46 mercury convertible, 55 t bird convertible, 55 chevy convertible (all fiberglass on a caprice frame).

i was asked about a fender tag and there is no fender tag - thanks ed

i have added lots of frame and floor pictures that were requested - thanks
