This is a penny operated Ford Gum and Machine gumball machine. It was manufactured and purchased from Ford Gum and Machine Company in the early-1960s. It served an owner of a Ford Gum and Machine franchised field from then until the mid-1980s in North Carolina.
It is in perfect working order with use, but no blemishes. It operates by use of either pennies or dimes and will reliably deliver several small sized Ford gum balls with every inserted coin. The globe is glass and carries a Ford Gum & Machine decal. An original metal plaque remains above the machine’s original spout with model number and trademark details. GUM IS NOT INCLUDED.
