Material - Bicron BC412 Plastic Scintillator block with peak emission at about 425nm, custom made for use with a SensL 60035 C-series SiPM. These blocks are cut approximately 5cm x 5cm x 1cm and now come fully polished and ready to use. These blocks are custom cut for use in the CosmicWatch project, Cosmic Ray Muon Detector. This listing is for one precut block of Bicron BC412 Scintillator Plastic. This material is a Premium Plastic Scintillator Material, tested and guaranteed to work for your Cosmic Ray Muon Detector project. No other items shown or mentioned are included.

These are virgin "water cooled cut and polished" scintillator blocks. I never use or recommend heat polishing of a scintillator. Cutting and polishing of scintillator plastic can be difficult and costly without proper know-how and equipment. Unless you’re going to build dozens of detectors, buying precut scintillators from me is much cheaper (and easier) than trying to cut, shape and polish it yourself.
