This is a vintage, built model of the famous "Winnie Mae" Lockheed Vega (NR-105-W), flown by Wiley Post. The model is believed to have been build in the late 1950's or early 1960's and is in good condition.

There are a few yellowed spots on the plane, possibly from glue getting on it during the construction.  The decals have also faded yellow.

The ailerons, elevators, rudder and propeller all move, and the model can be displayed on or off the stand (when off the stand resting on landing gear, the model tilts slightly to one side). The fuselage is about 6 3/4 inches long, and the wingspan is 10 1/4 inches
