Pair of refurbished 2420 drivers with the 2305 horn combination.  The diaphragms have been replaced in both as a set, and the interior of the horns painted flat black.  Exterior is still the gray paint of the Professional Series, and shows some wear.  The diaphragms are high quality after market diaphragms and were replaced as a set to get equal output.  I have a set of original LE85/H91 horns and did a full comparison to this pair.  Using my Sound Pressure Level tool and my Elenco Signal Generator, I did an A/B test on output, range and efficiency.  The 2420's matched the LE85's in range and consistently matched output at -3dB below the output of the LE85's.  (I think it was 89dB for the LE85 and 86dB for the 2420's).  I have found the LE85's to be quite efficient and a bit overpowering at times, so I generally use the notch below normal on the crossover anyway.  Output, quality and range otherwise matched. Both speakers pooped out around 15KHz, and were good to around 500Hz.  I always suspected the LE85 could not do much above 15K, and this test proved it.  I have not been able to hear above 10K for many years, so I rely on my test equipment to tell me the truth.

The 2305 is slightly shorter than the H91, but seemed to match the sound characteristics the same.  Not sure what the application for that horn was originally.  Maybe for space considerations.

I considered repainting the exterior, but will not be able to match the JBL gray, so I did not.  Once they are in a cabinet no one can see the discoloration anyway.  If you insist I will paint them.

Ask away, and I can take more photos or measurements for you. The mount for the 2305 will need some additional hardware or custom solution.  It reminds me of the potato masher horn. (1217/1290?).  No diffusion lenses included.
