Up for sale is....

A very rare vintage match cover for HOTEL SAN DIEGO, San Diego, California....as seen in the photos.

This match book was issued in the 1940s. I have deduced that from the following information: The cars drawn in front of the hotel look to be from the 30s or 40s and not later.  

The small "o" in the manumark indicates this match book was issued between 1938 and 1958:
