These cones have all fallen naturally in the last year or two, and been gathered up by myself.

They have been air/sun dried, then stored in my attic.  They are clean, dry, open, & ready to use!!!

KIDS CRAFTS TOO!! -  They are also a great way to keep the kids happy for an hour or two, during the "stuck indoors Christmas Holidays"!!  (look on YouTube for tons of simple, imaginative, & creative ideas!).   My sons favourite was gluing them into an upright lid (from a pump-action toothpaste dispenser), then decorating the cone (& lid) with glitter, shiny red & gold beads, etc...  then we popped a little star on the top and "voila" - you have an incredibly effective Mini Christmas Tree, which you will genuinely be proud of to put on full display to impress all your family & friends over the festive period!!!   (OR.... as my youngest son did... put it in the Hamster cage - as "animals need Christmas decorations too Daddy!!!"      And I have to admit, it was the perfect size, and did look pretty awesome!!!)
