The Volume of the music produced by the mechanism is quite low. However, when it is properly mounted to a “Soundboard” the volume increases to the full richness of crystal clear sound. A hard surface such as wood or metal works quite well. The movements you purchase from this shop will come with a white plastic Soundboard made specifically for this function.
