Description:
Pearl chiffon is another form of chiffon (georgette) but has a slick texture. It is a light-to-medium weight material made from 100% polyester. It is used in evening and formal wear, since it drapes well and can add a floaty look to gowns and dresses. Pearl chiffon is used often for the couture ballroom dresses. Chiffon has a sophisticated drape, lustrous fluidity and motion movement. Pearl Chiffon fabrics have a luxurious feel and texture, which move beautifully in skirts, dresses and floats for ultimate fluidity of movement. Pearl Chiffon fabrics pleat extremely well, making this a top design choice.
Pearl Chiffon texture oozes luxury and is very popular to use among designers and this is because it is down to its smooth and sinuous movement on the floor as well as its lustrous, slick finish. For these reasons also, it is ideal to use for floats to emulate the fluidity of the garments, such as the 1930s and 1940s styles.
It a durable and comfortable fabric and can be used for a variety of clothes.
Washing Instructions:
Regardless of the
type of chiffon you own, it’s best to launder it gently to help preserve
the life of the garment. You can wash Pearl Chiffon by hand or in the
washing machine, most polyesters can be machine washed on a warm
setting.

The fabric is cut directly from the bolt roll, therefore you will receive a whole continuous piece. All fabrics will be supplied in continuous lengths for each printed design.
