These brackets were designed specifically for 8/4 hardwood lumber or live edge slabs that once planed and sanded are 1 3/4 - 2 1/2 inch thick. 

Rated 55 lbs per stud they are attached to.

The 6” rod length is perfect for shelf depths from 7” to 12” deep.

36" length is perfect for 36"- 42" shelves.
