Altezza 23 cm circa. E' identificata dal marchio N sormontato da corona, proviene da una collezione privata, ed è stata originariamente acquistata a Napoli attorno agli anni 60. Come si vede dalle foto è in perfetto stato. Riporta la firma Fornili. 

La porcellana di Capodimonte è l’esempio più alto e perfetto nel campo della ceramica artistica italiana e uno dei generi di artigianato artistico più apprezzati nel mondo per la maestria della realizzazione e la cura dei particolari.
Il nome “Capodimonte” è legato alla città di Napoli e, più in particolare, al Regno di Carlo III di Borbone che, nel 1743, fa costruire sulla collina vicino alla reggia, detta appunto di Capodimonte, una fabbrica per produrre porcellana che potesse eguagliare le migliori fabbriche europee.
Dopo la chiusura della fabbrica originale,i vari artigiani tengono comunque viva la tradizione e la strada tracciata dai Borbone, e che è proseguita fino agli anni più recenti.
 
Le porcellane della tradizione partenopea di Capodimonte si distinguono per il particolare colore latteo, la maggiore compattezza e la trasparenza, e la cura dei dettagli. Il tenero impasto da cui prendono forma le pregiate manifatture locali viene plasmato utilizzando stampi in gesso finemente scolpiti e cesellati nei quali viene colata la porcellana liquida, in modo da ottenere l'oggetto crudo che viene poi sottoposto ad una prima lunga cottura in forno di circa 8-12 ore a 1250°. Si ottiene, così, una creazione in biscuit di ceramica pronta per essere dipinta a mano e poi nuovamente cotta in forno per 8 ora a 750° per fissare il colore. Le composizioni floreali vengono, invece, plasmate manualmente dall'artigiano per poi seguire lo stesso iter degli oggetti ottenuti con lo stampo.

Capodimonte porcelain is the highest and most perfect example in the field of Italian artistic ceramics and one of the most appreciated kinds of artistic craftsmanship in the world for the mastery of the realization and attention to detail.

The name"Capodimonte" is linked to the city of Naples and, more particularly,to the reign of Charles III of Bourbon who, in 1743, built a factory to produce porcelain that could match on the hill near the palace, called Capodimonte the best European factories.

After the closure of the original factory, the various craftsmen keep alive the tradition and the road traced by the Bourbons, and that has continued until the most recent years.

Porcelain from the Naples tradition of Capodimonte is distinguished by its particular milky color, greater compactness and transparency, and attention to detail. The tender dough from which the precious local manufactoriestake shape is molded using finely sculpted and chiselled plaster molds in which the liquid porcelain is poured, in order to obtain the raw object that is thensubjected to a first long baking in the oven of about 8-12 hours at 1250 °. In this way a ceramic biscuit creation is created, ready to be painted by hand and then baked again for 8 hours at 750 ° to fix the color. The floral compositions, on the other hand, are shaped manually by the craftsman and then follow the same procedure as the objects obtained with the mold.
