A Russian .84 Silver Cigarette Case. Case cover decorated with a scene of two figures and a dog. After a long night of drinking, a drunken man came home late. As he stumbled towards his house, he was awaited by his wife and dog. His wife angrily scolded the man for coming home so late and in a completely drunken state. Interior bears a gold wash and Russian silver marks on each half. Marked 84 solid sterling silver and Cyrillic "ФС" or   "ЭФ" maker stamp. Weight 212 gram. Dimensions L 4.75" W 3.5". Absolutely gorgeous condition. Very rare. Circa 1869.
