SHEMAGH : all-purpose Multi-Tactical Arabian Keffiyeh Shemagh is a must for all weather conditions in uniform or contractors in the heat. fantastic for keeping you cool on hot summer days, wind storms, dust storms, and will shield your head and neck from the sun, sand, & or wind. Used by Special Forces . Rangers, and Seals in Afghanistan, Iraq & Worldwide Contingencies to include Special Missions. Most Units allow the Shemagh to be worn with all branches while deployed to include Kuwait, please check with your Commander or 1SG to see if this allowed in Uniform, This is one item we will not allow returns on as this is made to be worn around the neck or face to keep the elements from hitting you, we have sold over 200 Shemaghs and our feedback is perfect on every sale, but once it touches your neck or a dust storm, I cannot accept a return on this . A Keffiyeh is also known as a Shmagh, Shemagh or Yashmag, a Ghutra or a Hatta, and it is a long legacy headdress of arab men, made of a square of cloth ("Scarf"), folded and wrapped in various styles around the head. works excellent as alternative winter headgear especially in areas with snow and strong winds. This Shemagh is ultra thin especially for the Summer, think of the Summer Uniforms you wear and the Winter Uniforms, there is a Waffle Pattern breathable fabric for the summer uniforms, this Shemagh is designed exactly for Summer operations, however if you roll it 2 fold or 3 fold it can be used as a neck / face warming system. All Soldiers know there isnt a specific way to wear the Shemagh , each person has there own way, so if your told a specific way to wear these, obviously they havent spent anytime across the big pond. All my Shemaghs are made in Afghanistan , specifically the Kabul Province , they are not made in China , nor the US . Each Shemagh has been inspected for any rips, tears or stains.
