For auction I have a lovely vintage purse made by the Fre-Mor Mfg. Corp. of New York, New York. The purse measures approximately 4 1/2" high and is 8" in diameter at the base. The bottom of the bag has an insert for a flat bottom and is 4 1/2" deep. The bag measures 9" at the widest part of the bulge. The strap has a drop of about 4" to the top of the lid and the overall measurement including the purse and handle is 8 3/4" high.

The purse has a hard base that was made with cardboard. It was then covered with black jet glass beads sewn together to form the fabric style evening bag. The interior is lined with black satin and has a small interior pocket. This lovely purse is finished with a Bakelite frame closure and chain link handle in proper working order. The closure of the purse is a wide Bakelite hinge style clasp that locks it securely. There is a white label sewn inside the purse that reads "Original Fre-Mor creation".

The purse is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no missing beads, no loose stitches or odors to report. This evening bag would be the perfect accessory for that special evening out that is sure to be noticed and envied.

This purse was made circa 1940-1955.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of the year 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for.

They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 11.7% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.7%. This is an increase of 8.8% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.7% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.

If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.

I bubble wrap and fully Insure all shipments that are sold. Insurance is Included in the Flat Rate Shipping Charge above. This does not Include International Shipments as each country has different rates.

International purchases must wait for the Invoice so Insurance can be added. There are some Countries I cannot Ship to because the Post Office won't allow Insurance on items shipped there.
