I just wanted to let you know how our vacation went at Cancun Palace. I'm really glad we saw your ad on eBay. You gave us a chance to see a bit of paradise for less than we'd normally spend.
Thanks to your "status" at Cancun Palace, our room had an ocean view on the 8th floor, right in the center of the complex. Of course, all of the food, beverages (including alcohol) and hotel activities were included. The hotel has several restaurants, 7, I believe and we ate at all of them. They also have 24 hour room service, which is also free. The rooms had a Jacuzzi in them and also a small liquor bar.
Included in this package was $1,000 per room in activities and tours. We had two rooms, so the $3000 was more than enough. We especially loved swimming with the dolphins. The hotel pool was about 150 yards long. The water was very easy to get into. We especially enjoyed the swim up bars on either end of the pool. The ocean was also very nice. Large beach and blue water.
The one thing that really made the trip even more enjoyable was the hotel staff. They were there FOR US!!! Anything we needed, we received. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Dave, you were a part of this vacation and we thank you. We loved Cancun Palace so much. We have our eyes set on the Presidential [Suite] in the next few years.

Just wanted to let you know that Jennifer and I had the most amazing holiday at the Cancun Palace. The package you sold us lived up to everything we hoped for. We got our black wristbands no problem, transfers were quick and easy, room was amazing with the most gorgeous ocean view on the 11th floor.

The resort itself and the service was first class. We also got engaged which made it all the more special! We are most definitely going to return here as soon as we get a chance to take another holiday and we have also talked about going again for our honeymoon in 2011.

My husband, my 2 year old son and I stayed at Cancun Palace for 1 week in September. I have to say that I was a bit worried about going to Mexico - I have been to Cabo twice before and both times been underwhelmed and also been sick. Cancun was a totally different experience - it is so much cleaner and the beach is beautiful!

I booked our stay through eBay - a seller named Dave Poulin user ID cancunfun2005. I paid way less than on the travel sites and I was treated like a Queen because we had the black wrist band. This band is for "Palace Premier" members. I would definitely recommend buying your vacation from a timeshare seller such as Dave. It was seamless, no problems at all. Also we got a lot of free bonuses - $200 spa credit, $200 golf credit and 2 manicures, pedicures and 25 min back massages.

The hotel is beautiful - just look at my photos! The weather was great - rained 2 times in 1 week for about 1 hour. It IS hurricane season so we expected a little rain.

My son loved the kids club - he is under 4 so I had to stay there with him. They have a lot of options for kids, even their own little cafe. Great water play area, Wii games, air hockey, fuse ball, trampoline, billiards etc etc. The staff are excellent and very caring and attentive.

I was so sad to leave and keep in mind when I booked this trip I really did not like Mexico. Now all I think about is going back!

We're back from a very enjoyable vacation at Cancun Palace.
Our flight was delayed by about an hour but Elite was there waiting for us and promptly took us to the resort. Check in was very courteous and in fact it was done in a separate area where the couches are. The food was excellent and the room very comfortable. The staff are all very pleasant and always responded with "it's my pleasure". I will definitely be in touch for our next Palace resort holiday.

We just returned from Cancun yesterday. We loved the new Cancun Palace. The new design is nice.

Yes..we are back from warm & sunny Cancun to snowy & cold CT. My family and I had another wonderful vacation at the Palace Resorts!! As you know, this trip we stayed at Cancun Palace. The resort was beautiful and the service was excellent. I was sad to see that most of the beach has been swept away by the recent storms. Hopefully, they can replenish that beautiful beach. I can not say enough great things about the people that work at these resorts. They are always smiling and truly providing the best service that one can find. We are already making plans to go back again next Christmas.

If you have any question about the resort, please let me know. Also, I did walk down and visit the newly opened Beach Palace during my stay.

Hey Dave,

The vacation got set back a few days due to hurricane Dean. We just got back on Wednesday. The newly renovated Cancun Palace was great, the food was great, and the workers were great. We did have one problem in that there wasn't a beach to go to due to the hurricane. The Palace Resorts told us that there was absolutely no beach damage from the hurricane but when we got there we found out differently. This of course was no fault of yours and really wasn't a big deal to me since I have been so many times. I will definitely be buying my next Cancun vacation from you. I did learn that we can buy our flight through Palace Resorts and not have to worry about losing any money due to cancellation and with the VIP status we received we were able to cancel our reservations at the last minute with no problems at all (since we were tracking the hurricane). We didn't have any problems rescheduling for the later day either.. Over all Dave this vacation to Cancun, our sixth, was the best and cheapest ever. WHAT A DEAL..........

WOW!! We had an awesome time. Everything went smoothly - they rolled out the red carpet for us - what a beautiful place [Cancun Palace]. We did go to Isla Mujeres, shopped and snorkeled. The only thing we encountered was our snorkeling trip to Isla Mujeres was $22.00 per person, not free. It was still worth it!!! We can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful time. The best vacation we have ever been on. Where can I start? The moment we arrived at the Cancun Palace they gave me and my daughters flowers as well as champagne for me and my husband. The service was so great that even my teenage daughter said that "I am in Paradise". The trip was so relaxing and at the same time entertaining. You never get bored. We stayed 7 days and everyday we did something different.
You suggested not to do the property tour but they were giving out some free tickets for the Jungle Tour so we decided to take the tour. That's when you realize how expensive it is to be a member. They were pressuring us to become members to get the discounted price. I was saying to myself why do I have to be a member, for as long as Dave is there, we can get the same member prices.
The Jungle Tour was so much fun you get to ride a small boat but the fun part is the speed. It was such a nice feeling to ride a boat with that speed. We enjoyed the snorkeling that was also part of that tour. We visited Tulum - Xpu Ha as well as the Moon Palace. Both resorts were nice but we liked our resort better. Since the resort we stayed at was newly renovated, everything was new and the room so nice. The beach at Cancun Palace was so great, something that the two other resorts didn't equal. We spent one day at Wet N' wild. It was a small water park. We have been to the one in Florida which is bigger and we were a little disappointed.
The food was great. We tried all the restaurants in the Cancun Palace. My kids liked the Japanese and Italian restaurants. I tried the Mayan Coffee you suggested, it was really great.
We couldn't see Chichen Itza. It was so hot at the time we went so I was telling my husband, we need to come during spring vacation, when it is probably cooler, to see Chichen Itza.
My kids loved this vacation so much they didn't want to come home. My 10 year old asked "are we coming next spring to see Chichen Itza?" and I told her we will be coming back in the spring but not necessarily this coming spring. This is a place you want to come back to. We can't stop talking about how good our vacation was. Our friends and family were shocked when we told them how much we paid. They want to know where we got such a good price, with so many things included in the trip. You can't get that kind of treatment in the U.S. even if you pay twice as much as we did. And for all of this, my family and I thank you for the chance you gave us for the wonderful time. We will use you again in the future and we will recommend you to our friends and family that want to take a vacation to Cancun Mexico.

We just returned from our trip to Cancun and had a FABULOUS time. From the moment we arrived at the Cancun Palace to the day we left we received wonderful service. Our guest services representative - Fernando - took care of scheduling all of our tours and made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. We are already thinking about a return trip next year :)

Upon hearing about our great trip, our neighbors are very interested in booking a trip for sometime in February 2008. Good morning Dave,
Thank you for your follow-up. I did leave some feedback on eBay already. Our stay at the Cancun Palace was great!! This has been for us, the nicest hotel we have stayed at. The hotel was very nice, simple and elegant. The room was very nicely decorated along with the Jacuzzi. They continue to have problems with the water coming out in a brownish color as if there was sand in the water lines, it might be rust. The place where it is most visible is in the Jacuzzi. The hotel confirmed this is a problem they are still having when they tried to give us another room but they had the same situation. I would think that within a few weeks or couple of months the problem should go away. For us, while we would have preferred not to have this problem in the Jacuzzi, it was no big deal. The minibar in the room had all the basic things you could ask for, water, cokes, sprites, juice, tequila, rum, brandy and two other liquors regular size bottles. While I am by no means a heavy drinker and I only consumed very little alcohol, it is nice to know they are there if you choose to make yourself a drink.

As far as the restaurants, they were all very good, from the Italian, oriental and the steak house. We could not pick a favorite. We did not go to the international/Mexican restaurant for dinner since we eat Mexican food on a daily basis so for us, we wanted something different. We definitely recommend getting the Cappuccino at the Italian or oriental restaurant or the Mayan Coffee at the Italian restaurant. The Mayan Coffee is prepared at your table so it is a nice treat. I thought the pool area was going to be so packed that we were not going to be able to enjoy ourselves but that was not the case. While there were a good number of people in the pool it never felt overcrowded.

The beach itself was special. Just having the opportunity to look at the water and admire its beauty was enough to make this vacation worthwhile. One of the main reasons we chose the Cancun Palace over the other Palace Resorts is because of the beach. My wife wanted to stay in a place that had the most beautiful beach possible and this resort did not disappoint. The other thing that attracted us to the Cancun Palace is its proximity to the shopping centers. We were within 5 minutes from the main shopping centers in the public transportation which cost 6.5 pesos or the equivalent to 65 cents. The hotel had a great variety of nightly entertainment ranging from live music to a circus, it was pretty neat.

While we did attend their presentation since they offered us $200 for spa and $100 to spend at their store, we did not buy anything. Our simple reasoning was, ?why pay for something that I can simply purchase from someone like Dave?" We did not see the need to purchase and even then, they were very nice about it. I was very worried because of other time shares I attended where they make a very ?aggressive? push for one to buy; this was not the case here.

But all the things mentioned above were already expected by us based on the research we had already done. What was most pleasantly surprising for us was the service we received. We received the best service one could expect. What was surprising is that the great service did not come from one or two individuals but by everybody at the hotel. They must have very good training where they must drill customer service into them because it definitely shows; by the same token, they seem to be selected in the people they hire to make sure they are customer service oriented. What we were able to appreciate is that they genuinely wanted for you to be happy at all times. While the tips were already included, we felt compelled almost every time to leave a tip for the great service we received.

By the way, I got sick from my stomach the last night I was there. It was nice to know they have a doctor on site that can attend to you, at your own expense of course. So after coming out of the doctor?s office, guess what happened? A number of the employees approached me wanting to know how I felt and wanting to know if the doctor had looked after me to my satisfaction. Wow!! Even while sick they made me feel good about me staying there.

There is so much to say but I think you get the picture. We definitely recommend the Cancun Palace; as a matter of fact, we might be planning a family vacation to the Cancun Palace sometime next year. Oh, and Dave, if we do, we will definitely go to you to book our vacation. Thank you so much for all your help throughout this entire process.

Just got home and had a wonderful time! Love Cancun, loved Cancun Palace! Everyone there is great. Can?t imagine staying anywhere but there. We went to Moon Palace for an afternoon, although it was beautiful, we preferred our hotel, especially with kids. Smaller and more intimate, nicer beach, nicer views. I want to go back. Maybe next year we can go to Xpu-Ha Palace or the new one in Playa del Carmen.

I must say thanks for the most unbelievable trip that my friends, girlfriend, and I have ever been on!! I travel all the time and this trip was above and beyond any trip we have ever taken!! The service that you provided us all the way up to the day we left was perfect and you came through with a trip better than you even described!!
Once we arrived in Cancun we were treated like kings all the way until the day we left the airport on our way home!! You and the Cancun Palace offered us the highest level of service and courtesy!! The people were all so nice and caring to our every need!! And I have to mention how great the food was at all the Palaces! Drink after drink, meal after meal that we were served!!

On our last night there, we moved to the Moon Palace!! WOW, is the best word that describes it!! Next time I will be staying there for two weeks!!!
