Abalone is the common name for a mollusc with a beautiful colorful sea shell. 
The stones we offer you are actually pieces of such a shell which were cut and polished to create a type of unique gemstone.
You may also recognize these stones under the name "mother of pearl" (MOP).

If you look closely at the photos, you can see each stone has an amazing color - combination of blue and green.
Important to know, that since these are genuine stones, each stone is different from the other.
Not only the color is different but also the texture inside the stone itself (not the surface, which is always smooth).
