This handy cable allows you to program your radio from your computer.

One end of the cable has a mini USB plug which connects to the data socket of the radio. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC. (Although the radio has a mini USB connector, it is serial, not USB.)

Avoids driver problems often encountered with cheaper Prolific PL2303 cables, instead using the much better supported SiLabs CP2102 chipset and works with all current versions of Windows, MacOS and Linux.
