• (looks like it is hallmarked on the backside of the bale, lettering we cannot read well)

• 3-dimensional
• the number one dog of the Fifties! 
• perfectly detailed 
• (no hallmark, tests for sterling)
6. CAT
• 2-D, flat back, long slick modernist style of the Fifties
• like Contour silverware or ORB jewelry 
• Feline is larger than the canine, so likely the cat ruled that household!! 
• (hallmarked for sterling on the back head)
7. PUFFY HEART  
• Loveliest 
• 1930s - 1940s? Beautiful Lampl-style repousse with scalloped floral edging
• banner reading "I LOVE U" 
• Small dent on the back, but as it is formed in 2 pieces, a jewelry repairman could smooth it out 
• (hallmarked on the back for STERLING)
8. CHARLIE McCARTHY PUPPET  
• Amazing RARE mechanical 
• Head moves back and forth
• REMARKABLY the string for his Monocle is still in place!!! 
• Famed-ventriloquist Edgar Bergen's renowned character (the other was Mortimer Snerd) - who started in Vaudeville, and ended up doing radio/early tv shows 1920s-1940s. 
• Father of actress Candace Bergen

• Opens to reveal an executioner with an ax, and a prisoner with head on the block!!!!

• marked "WILLIAMSBURG VA." which is likely an early charm from the Colonial Williamsburg living community museum

• 8-point antlers, HANG TAG reads "MICHIGAN"

• bringing a LETTER or NOTE in an envelope, always of some Good News 
• Victorian symbol that has lasted: the bluebird thought to bring cheer, greetings, and love!

One of the best bracelets in the inventory!!  We think buyer is sure to be delighted!!

Our Aunt loved sterling and travel and loved charm bracelets, she would fill one then start a new one with every trip!! As well as people gave lots of charms to her... Plus New Old Stock charms from her Gift Shop inventory... ("The Red Hen" in Michigan, now long gone). She often made bracelets for friends and customers — We got an estate-ful, collected between the 1940s – 1980s plus a number of single charms she intended to put on a chain or link bracelet, but never got around to it.  Newer charms were added to this collection as time went by.  See our other listings for 100s of her sterling charms and other great charm bracelets!

As we say for all the vintage charm bracelets we are listing: Various hallmarks: some charms are clearly marked, some misstamped, some not stamped at all. Most are sterling and scarce European Silver.  Those without marks are the same as tested —  or otherwise silverplate or other silver metal. We point out as best we can and welcome any info that can help us.
