Read Me
Programs have less content than yearbooks. Most programs contain photographs, biography and history of the home team with reports of upcoming rookies and minor league stars. A great feature is photographs of the visiting star players which include the best players in the league and Hall of Famers in there playing days. Diagrams of the stadium, seating plans, schedule, ticket prices, rosters, line-ups, how to keep score are common features. Fans by programs for reading material or to secure autographs. Vintage programs are great to read for fun and research information. Programs from when a record is broken command premium value. Condition and scacity effect value. Regular game programs from the 1970's up run under $25. Vintage scarce and rare programs from record breaking games can run in the thousands of dollars.
