Ford 250 Cross-flow / 4.1 L  6 cyl MAIN CAP GIRDLE.

Suits Australian Ford 250 Cross-flow, 4.1 litre, in-line 6cyl engine blocks. 

Includes 13 x 8mm CNC machined Spacers to clear the 'hump' in the main Cap

Clears Oil Pump, may require sump modifications on some models. 

Designed and Manufactured here in Australia using the latest CNC laser Cutting Technology, from 8mm thick M350 Steel. 

This quality product ties your main caps together to help eliminate cap walk. It also distributes harmful 'Harmonic Vibrations' across the entire cap set rather than just 2  Main caps either side of a rod bearing pack. This product is a must in all Stroker, Turbo, Supercharged, Nitrous and high RPM applications. 

Our girdle is a simple creation and is carefully designed to cater for lateral movement of the main caps for most extra duty applications. It has been made of 8mm steel to minimise stud length,  oil pan clearance issues, and flexible enough to take up any small variations in cap heights, and  of course minimising extra engine weight. A thicker plate is unnecessary, as a girdle would have to be at least an inch thick to add to the structural integrity of the block itself ( if you're under the impression girdles 'strengthen' the block), however, thicker girdles can be supplied if requested and a longer delivery time is required.

The Installation of Main Studs is HIGHLY Recommended. 

I use and supply ARP main stud kits.
