"Goal To Go" by Ralph Henry Barbour, D. Appleton-Century, New York, First Edition, First Printing (as stated), 1933, VERY RARE TITLE, Early Football, Good Condition

In Good overall condition with a full dark burgundy canvas binding with ornately detailed beveled designed boards; gold gilt titling to spine; Very Good spine; boasts a strong and tight binding.  Ex-library with remnants of a carefully removed bookplate on the front inner board.  Other than that clean yellow detailed pastedowns; free of hinge cracking; "6021 Barbour Sport" written in pencil in the top right corner of the rear board.  No Dust Jacket.  Mild shelf wear and moderate corner bumping.

The text block is in Good condition with the only library markings being a stamp on the bottom right corner of the first blank fly page and the number '6021' on the verso of the title page on the words FIRST PRINTING and the image of the 1930s style football quarterback.  White pages however there is heavy scattered soiling and finger prints; free of writing, rips or tears other than perhaps the occasional unseen one and a small one at the base of the second fly page repaired with a piece of tape.  Illustrated with 4 illustrations from Neil O'Keefe. 

A very rare title from Barbour; one of his later and more uncommon titles; very hard to find in any condition!
