Pair of Art Nouveau Bottle Holders by Roberts & Belk 1900 Silver plated Coasters
 
Stunning pair of Art Nouveau vases or bottle holders, made in Sheffield, England, c1900 by Roberts and Belk (1863  - 1901), bearing the registration number RD361039 (referring to the year 1900), and the serial number 6067.

The two objects are cylindrical in shape, and widen slightly towards the base and upward. They have three spherical­ feet. Marks are under the base, the registration number is printed aside.

Beautiful and rare items with pure Art Nouveau decoration.

Probably intended as a bottle holders, are  beautiful also used as posy vases or as penholders.

Sheffield electroplate. The conditions are very good. Silver plating is original and in very good condition, but some wear inside.
