Available for immediate purchase is this exquisite, profoundly rare, late 1930’s vintage, new with original tag and retail box, never opened or used, guaranteed original and authentic (Reference Number 299; Patent Number: 184.476); made in France, Fleurs de Rocaille Perfumed Oil for the Bath (Huile Parfumee pour le Bain) splash in a 1.5-ounce size by Parfums Caron and distributed by Caron Corporation of New York, NY. All photos were taken at 40x magnification in natural light to best highlight overall condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.

This bottle comes with its original blue and cream box (top flap is missing). Its original paper hang tag (one crease), is still threaded under its Bakelite top cap, confirming that this bottle has never been opened. There may possibly be a cork stopper underneath the top cap.

All of the powder blue paper labels are intact and in excellent condition. Its base is acid-etched: Caron Made in France. The scent emanating from its neck is absolutely divine.

NOTE: This bottle has a small chip at its base (see photo) and a smidgen of debris inside – which is common in perfumed oils made from all-natural ingredients (or, it may be a bit of cork, if there is a cork fitted underneath the Bakelite cap).

Bath oil may be used as a traditional perfume, at the pulse points. A little goes a long way.

Originally launched in 1933, Fleurs de Rocaille is the legendary perfume of the house of Caron and features top notes of palisander, bergamot, gardenia and violet; heart notes of oriss root, jasmine, Narcissus, rose, carnation, lily-of-the-valley, ylang-ylang, lilac, mimosa and iris on base notes of amber, sandalwood, musk and cedar. Fleurs de Rocaille was reformulated and relaunched in 1993 as “Fleur de Rocaille.”
