An Early 18th Century Yorkshire / Derbyshire Backstool / Chair
A good, sturdy example raised on turned legs united by stretchers supporting an original plank seat.
The definite back crests with voluted scrolls and central flower head. The uprights with scrolled terminals and split spindle appliques.
Good colour throughout.
