Stars On the Sea by F. Van Wyck Mason.  Published by J. B. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia, 1940.  Very good plus first edition book in very good dust jacket.  Inscribed by the author on the half-title page.  From the front flap: "A companion piece, but not a sequel, to the brilliant Three Harbours, this novel presents a fresh and unhackneyed version of the War of Independence as seen in a northern colony, a southern colony and a tropical island colony - Rhode Island, South Carolina and the Bahamas.  What Breed's Hill was to Three Harbours, valiant Moultrie's defense of Charleston's Fort Sullivan is to Stars on the Sea."
