Description

This is a chance to own an original, real-photo, Cabinet portrait photo dating to 1882.  It was produced by the Lock & Whitfield photographic studio using the woodbury process and is titled to the mount 'Hobart Pasha' - (born Augustus Charles Hobart-Hampden) an Admiral in the Ottoman service. It is just one of a number of interesting CDV and stereoviews on offer this week. All of which are being sold without reserve. Approximate image size = 4.5" x 3.5" (115mm x 90mm); Mount Size = 10.75" x 8" (273mm x 204mm)

Condition

Please note that this item is approximately 140 years old and has been used. The image is in very good condition photographically but there may be marks / spotting to the mount consistent with age and usage. Please refer to the photographs and do not hesitate to email if you have any questions prior to bidding.
