• Many of our CDs we sell are original (often) first or early CD pressings from the 1980s or 1990s. As such, the digital transfer is without ugly EQ tampering with the sound. For example since the early 2000's most modern CDs have been EQ'd as loud as possible boosting lots of treble and bass, usually ignoring all the characteristics of the classic originals! With these original CDs you are getting the music usually in a flat EQ quality, and so in their pure digital form from the master tapes. This is why many of our customers are returning to these original quality CDs bypassing the latest "remastered 24-bit digital resolution edition with umpteen bonus tracks".
