Each coconut lamp was hand crafted by a Thai artisan from northern Thailand.  The material used is coconut shell which is not only hard, strong and durable, but also, lightweight. This wood is eco-friendly and comes from a plantation orchard that is consistently replanted for sustainability.  Coconut shell light handmade with natural coconut shell and other tropical wood; soft emanating light projects upon the nearby wall an elaborate illuminating design of hundreds of hand drilled holes. The wooden coconut shells are a natural brown colour and have hundreds of hand drilled holes that allow a soft illuminating light to display unique design against the wall. Small size makes them easy to place on small tables, dressers, desks, or shelves. Perfect child's night light; warm and subtle light that will gently brighten your space for a sense of security. The legs, head, and arm are all made from other tropical wood.

This bedside lamp uses an economical small 110/230V – 3.5/7W  light bulb.  

 There is also an external on/off switch for safety.
