Up for bids is a beautiful porcelain plate.  It has a portrait of a beautiful girl in purple attire.  She has rosy cheeks and big brown eyes.  She's wearing a purple dress with a see-thru shawl tied with a bouquet of purple and yellow pansies.  The detail is incredible.  The plate has scalloped edges trimmed in gold.  The Haviland & Co Limoges stamp on the back is from 1876 - 1889.  It also has the signature and date, "M. J. Gray 1888".  I researched this artist and could not find any other plates like this one.  It measures 9-1/2".  It's in excellent condition for its age with no nicks, chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.  It only has very minor gold loss.  Please look very carefully at all the pictures and ask any questions.  Please check out my other listings for combined shipping.
