    About Us

    I have been in the jewellery trade for 35 years. The first 8 years I was importing and wholesaling before I opened a shop in a major shopping centre.

    After 17 years the fun was gone. Having been involved with so many customers, so many sales and thousands of repairs, I needed a change.

    Ten years ago I opened an eBay store to start the next leg of my life.

    I am still sourcing gemstones and diamonds to put together beautiful pieces of jewellery. And I have the experience and the contacts to solve problems and get things done.

    eBay is home now and I can't see myself being anywhere else.

    How do I know this is real fine jewellery? That is, are the diamonds, the gemstones and the gold real?

    I have been selling on eBay a long time and I want to continue selling here. That is one of the reasons why I can state that everything I have for sale is exactly what it says it is. Other reasons include protecting my professional reputation and a desire not to be sued.

    Some expensive gemstones come with a Lab Report, others don't. Is that because they aren't good enough to receive one?

    No. I have been buying gemstones from trusted gem merchants in Bangkok for 30 years. Since Lab Reports became cost effective I get one with every stone. Stones I have owned from before that time never had the option to come with a Lab Report. I did enquire about getting something similar done here in Australia but the prices were prohibitive.

    Are the Valuations quoted in some listings worth the paper they are written on? Aren't they just marketing waffle?

    Absolutely not. The Valuations I supply have been prepared by qualified Valuers. They are completely independent from me and I pay them for their expertise. I have no say in their results, accredited Valuers are trained to assess jewellery and provide a fair market value. Unlike some Valuations that are prepared by the seller these Valuations have legal standing in a court of law.

    Is shipping free?

    Yes! All orders for Australian delivery are sent free by Parcel Post. For buyers outside Australia international postage rates will apply.

    What if I want my item quicker?

    Express Post is available for $10. Click “Buy It Now” and select the Express Post option at checkout. 

    Do I have to pay express shipping for each item I buy?

    No. You only need pay for Express Post once regardless of how many items you buy.

    How long will you take to post my item?

    I post everything at the first opportunity. This means most items are sent the same day but please note purchases made late Friday and over the weekend will not be presented to the PO until Monday morning. This will not result in your delivery being delayed as the PO doesn't clear parcels over the weekend.

    When should my item arrive?

    Arrival times depend entirely on your location. I am in Perth and all Parcel Post deliveries go to the east coast by road. It takes from 4 to 7 days to arrive in any of the capital cities, delivery from there is by the local postal service.

    Express Post deliveries leave Perth by air arriving in your state capital the next morning. Delivery can be counted on within 2 to 3 days depending on your location.

    My item hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

    The first thing you can do is check on the tracking number which has been added to your purchase details. By clicking on the number the Australia Post website opens to reveal the timeline of your parcels delivery. You can see when it was posted and where it has gone. If there is inadequate information you can either visit your local PO and ask them or you can contact me. Once a parcel is on its way there is nothing that can be done to hurry it up. Very occasionally a parcel will be delayed somewhere but they invariably turn up. 

    Do you offer free returns?

    Yes. If you are not happy for whatever reason you need only to return your purchase within 30 days for a full refund. I will include the cost of the return post with your refund.
