This auction is for one (1) new YH49/X118 Yamaha motorcycle key blank that works on 1984+ Yamaha V Star 250, XV, XS, XT, YSR, YX.
BEWARE! THIS KEY WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE D CODE SERIES ONLY. WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER CODE SERIES. BE SURE TO CHECK THE KEY GROVES PICTURES ABOVE WITH YOUR EXISTING KEY.
If you don't know your key code series, please be sure to match your key groves up.
This is NOT a guessing game!
Yamaha uses 4 different keys and 4 different key codes for this particular make and model. So you will need to match your key groves with the ones in the picture.

The head of the key could be different depending on the manufacturer.
You will need to take the key blanks along with your key to a locksmith, big box store, hardware stores, and dealerships to have it cut.
We highly recommend using a professional locksmith.
