Terms & Conditions of Sale

Black Diamond Auto Dismantles offer a minimum Three Month Warranty for all used and second hand parts (unless otherwise stated). These warranty terms are not transferable and original invoices are required for proof of purchase.

Body parts as inspected
No allowance is made for transportation or labour costs
Part returns must be received within 30 days of invoice date.

A 15% handling charge will be incurred for parts "NO LONGER REQUIRED".

Part retums must be accompanied by original invoice.

Black Diamond will not be responsible for any consequential loss or damage, loss of income or damage/downtime because of the failure of the part sold.

Warranty

Engines are warranted against smoking, knocking and excessive oil usage, heat tabs are fitted to all engines and it is a condition of this warranty that your radiator be cleaned thoroughly, also heater and radiator hoses including fan belts be checked and replaced if necessary.

Engines are generally sold fairly complete, with us only removing: Aircon compressor, Alternator, Power steering pump, starter motors are always removed! On occasion we do remove throttle body & exhaust manifold, if the catalytic converter is part of it. Inlet manifolds, injectors, wiring loom, turbo(s) & injector pump (if applicable) are left on the engines for ease of fitment reasons only! Only the long engine itself is covered under warranty!
Wiring looms are not guaranteed to be correct for your model. Closely examine before installation and swap parts from your original engine where necessary.
Diesel engines will need injectors and pump to be serviced or warranty void.
All change over units to be retumed ASAP or no warranty will be considered.
All transmissions must be fitted with a new filter kit and front seal by a qualified transmission repairer. The transmission warranty will be void if this is not carried out.

Exchange/Credit Policy

In the instance that you are dissatisfied with the quality, condition or operation of the part you have purchased from Black Diamond Auto Dismantlers please retum it for an exchange. In cases where we do not have a replacement part we will locate & order one in for you. If we are unable to do so, you will receive a refund. All exchanges / credits or refunds must be accompanied by a Tax Invoice as proof of purchase.

Credit may incur a 15% handling fee at managements discretion.

Your Refund Rights

You are entitled to a refund if the goods purchased....

are defective (the defect not being caused by you), or
do not match the description or sample provided by us, or
do not do what they are supposed to or what we said they would.
In these instances above, we will be responsible for return freight costs, should we require the item to be returned.

You are still entitled to a refund if you change your mind or make a wrong choice, however a 15% handling fee may be charged & you will be responsible for any return freight costs.
